Roc Holiday Village: 2026 Dates & Things to Do

November 27–December 20, 2026, on select dates

Roc Holiday Village brings ice skating, local shopping, live music, and visits with Santa to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park in downtown Rochester. Presented by ESL Federal Credit Union, the festival opens on Thanksgiving weekend for the first time in 2026 and runs for 16 operating days through December 20.

Admission is free, along with skating and skate rentals sponsored by Wegmans, Santa visits, and children’s crafts. Browse the shops, stop for food and drinks, or gather beside a fire pit. Private igloo reservations and selected special events are purchased separately.

2026 Dates and Hours

• November 27–29: Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
• December 4–6: Friday, 4–11 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
• December 9–13 and December 16–20: Wednesday and Thursday, 4–10 p.m.; Friday, 4–11 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

These are the general festival hours. The shops, skating rink, Santa’s Workshop, and other attractions follow their own schedules. Check the official dates and hours for the part of the village you plan to visit.

The outdoor shops and fireside seating areas give you places to browse and pause between activities. The heated Triple-O Lodge offers seating, drinks, live entertainment, and free arcade games. Check the Shopping Village directory before visiting if you’re looking for a particular vendor, since the lineup changes each season.

Public skating, skate rentals, and skate helpers are free during the village’s designated skating hours. Loaner skates are limited, so bring your own if you have them. Open skating pauses for scheduled rink activities; check the official skating page for hours and updates.

Planning Your Visit

Roc Holiday Village is at 353 Court Street, near Chestnut Street. Nearby parking options include Washington Square Garage, Court Street Garage, Midtown Garage, and The Strong’s garage, accessed from Howell Street. For a longer outing, pair the village with a visit to The Strong National Museum of Play. Check the museum’s hours separately when planning both stops.
