Located just 25 miles south of Rochester in Wheatland, Stokoe Farms offers a full day of family activities. On a beautiful October or December day, you can expect it to be an incredibly popular place.
Autumn at Stokoe Farms
Enjoy picking your own pumpkins, an expansive maize maze, wagon rides, zip lines, a straw fort, petting zoo, a train without tracks that runs throughout the property, and a dozen more activities.
There is food available if you didn’t pack a picnic. Even if you did, spring for the cider and donuts, and maybe a some kettle corn. In addition to the dining tables, there are places throughout the farm to relax while the kids are playing, including a gigantic chair!
Interact with the animals
You’ll find your standard American farm animals (cows, pigs, goats, bunnies) plus various non-traditional animals like a camel!
Pick out your pumpkins
Pumpkins & gourds of all shapes and sizes are available for purchase near the entrance. If you’re feeling adventurous head down the hill and pick out your own from the pumpkin patch. Stokoe’s does provide hand-carts for you, but you can also take your pumpkin on board the tractor-pulled wagons which loop right into the pumpkin patch. A fantastic way to end the day!
