If you love art, Albright-Knox is worth the hour drive to enjoy! Like our own Memorial Art Gallery, there are exceptional pieces inside and out.
There are a dozen massive sculptures on the gallery’s campus, both odd and intriguing. Pick a beautiful day so you can explore the ground outside, along with Delaware Park in the gallery’s backyard.
There are 1-hour long public tours held at 1:30pm Thursday-Sunday; a second Saturday tour at 11:30am. Tours often help you get familiar with the layout of collections and provide a great basis to go back and explore deeper.
Albright-Knox has exceptional programs for children and families, and engaging opportunities for adults including lectures, concerts, art classes and in-depth tours with gallery curators. Follow them on Facebook for the most current events and exhibits.
