Stokoe Farms has been the cornerstone of my family’s Autumn for 20+ years. As they say on their website, “The Best Traditions Begin Here!” and I wholeheartedly agree. We love it so much now my youngest daughter works there!
A full day of fun
Located just 25 miles south of Rochester in Wheatland, Stokoe Farms offers a full day of family activities. On a beautiful Autumn day, you can expect it to be a very popular place! Pumpkins, maize maze, wagon rides, zip lines, a straw fort, petting zoo, and a dozen more activities await you. Plus loads of benches to relax while the kids are playing. Stop back in December to cut your own Christmas tree.
10 Ways to Savor Autumn
New in 2017!
Stokoe Farms is continuously growing their farm experiences! You’ll find two new activities this year: a train without tracks that runs throughout the property, and a baby camel. There should also be new piglets by the time the festival begins.
There is food available if you didn’t pack a picnic. Even if you did, spring for the cider and donuts, and maybe a some kettle corn.
Pick out your pumpkins
Pumpkins & gourds of all shapes and sizes are available for purchase near the entrance. If you’re feeling adventurous head down the hill and pick out your own from the pumpkin patch. Stokoe’s does provide hand-carts for you, but you can also take your pumpkin on board the tractor-pulled wagons which loop right into the pumpkin patch. A fantastic way to end the day!
