Every weekend in October from 11am-4pm. Our activities are kid-oriented, with rides, games, arts & crafts geared toward kids ages 2-10, yet fun for the whole family. With special animal visitors, carnival rides, food and more, there is sure to be something to please everyone. General admission is free, though there are paid-tickets for some of the activities.

5. New York Museum of Transportation’s Halloween Trolley Express

All aboard! Children and their parents are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and join us for a special day at the transportation museum. The trolley takes you to the Pumpkin Patch were you’ll decorate a free baby pumpkin and enjoy delicious cider and donuts. In the museum there’s unique trick-or-treating in Halloween-decorated trolley cars! Special prices prevail and reservations are required.

6. Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum Pumpkin Patch Train Rides

Enjoy a mile-and-a-half train ride through our rural museum grounds, located in the scenic heart of the Genesee Valley! Ride aboard authentically restored freight train cabooses to the Pumpkin Patch! Every child will visit our Pumpkin Patch to choose a small baby pumpkin to take home to decorate. Complementary apple cider and cookies for everyone. Fresh, hot, Duke’s Donuts will also be available for purchase!

9. Cobble Creek’s Pumpkin People

Pumpkin People are life-size cloth dummies for indoor or outdoor display. The dummy is made from water-resistant canvas, double stitched and filled with polyester fiber. They will sit without support but standing requires staking.

10. Becker Farms Pumpkin Fiesta

Tickets include a pony ride for children 42″ tall and under, the jumping pillow, bounce house, goat races & sing along, a hayride though the forest, and the farm animal petting zoo. There’s also a playground with big slides, jungle gym, water tables, and big bales of hay to jump on.

Pick Your Own Pumpkins

The drive through the countryside offers a chance to do some Autumn leaf peeping. The Finger Lakes Region and areas along Lake Ontario are usually the last to peak because of the warm water temperatures. New York State offers a weekly Fall Foliage Report you can follow starting in mid-September.
